Your data, plainly explained.

1. Who we are

This website (accordhk.com) is operated by Accord Apps Development & Marketing, a trade name of CHI Group Holdings Limited, a company registered in Hong Kong. For privacy matters, write to hello@accordhk.com.

2. What we collect

Two kinds of data:

• What you give us — your name, company, email, phone number and project description when you fill in the contact form or email us. We use this only to reply, and to keep a record of conversations with prospective clients.
• What your browser tells us — IP address, browser type, the page that referred you, and the pages you visited. This is standard web-server log data, used to understand site traffic and detect abuse.

3. Cookies & analytics

We use a small number of first-party cookies (theme + language preferences) stored in your browser. We may use a privacy-respecting analytics tool (Plausible or GA4) to count visits in aggregate; no individual visitor is identified. If you are in the EU/UK and we use cookies that require consent, a banner will ask before any non-essential cookie is set.

4. Where your data lives

Form submissions are routed to our email and a CRM system. Aggregate analytics live with the chosen analytics provider. We do not sell or trade personal data — full stop.

5. How long we keep it

Form submissions: 24 months from last contact, then deleted. Server logs: 90 days. Email correspondence: as long as the engagement (or potential engagement) remains active.

6. Your rights

Under Hong Kong's Personal Data (Privacy) Ordinance — and the EU GDPR if you reside in the EU — you can ask us to (a) confirm what we hold about you, (b) correct it, (c) delete it, or (d) restrict how we use it. Email hello@accordhk.com. We reply within 7 working days.

7. Third parties on this site

The site loads fonts from Google Fonts (which sees your IP). Outbound links to WhatsApp, YouTube, Instagram and Facebook open on those companies' own sites, where their privacy policies apply. We do not control them.

8. Changes to this policy

If we make material changes, we will update the date at the top of this page. The previous version is available on request.
